Coaching grounded in leadership responsibility
Senior leadership requires more than technical expertise. Leaders must make decisions with incomplete information, build confidence across stakeholders and create the conditions in which others can perform.
My own experience as a Managing Director, CEO, CFO and Operating Partner provides context for those demands. Recommendations from former colleagues and direct reports describe clear direction, trust, practical mentoring and the ability to mobilise people.
“Jose has a fantastic ability to rally the team, get them working together, and focus them on a purpose.”
“I have never worked for or with any member at executive or director level who always and consistently puts the members of the team before himself while always remaining true and loyal to the company vision and ethos.”

Judgement, influence and executive presence
Coaching can focus on the decisions a leader is facing: how to set priorities, communicate a direction, challenge assumptions or work more effectively with a board, investors and peers.
We examine the situation, the behaviour it calls for and the consequences of different approaches. The aim is greater clarity and a stronger capacity to act.
Leading teams through change
A transformation or leadership transition can expose difficult questions about trust, authority and accountability. I help leaders understand their role in the change and how their behaviour influences the wider team.
Relevant work includes delegation, performance conversations, stakeholder engagement and the development of the next leadership layer. The business context provides a practical setting for reflection and learning.
A focused and confidential relationship
We agree the purpose, working rhythm and boundaries of the engagement. Where an organisation sponsors the work, expectations about confidentiality and progress are established at the outset.
Coaching supports the leader’s own judgement and responsibility. It can stand alone or accompany executive advisory and a wider leadership transformation.
